Adding Folders and Files

Managing Folders a & Documents

To add files or a new folder, click on a Coverage tab, then click on the FOLDERS AND FILES button.

Next, click on the File icon to open a new browser window or tab with the File Management area to add files and folders.

You can add and rename files and folders in order to organize files.
- For instance, you can name folders to indicate this year's files vs the upcoming coverage year's files by adding the year to the folder name.
- Or, break up a long list of files by the type of information.

Add Info

Add the Contact Information for the Company.

Include a Main Phone Number and Address.

Home Page Content Help

Website Home Page Content

To edit content, click somewhere in the text area to open the Editor Window.

Be careful not to click a link.
If a link is clicked, there will be an error message. Just use your browser's back button to go back to the page.

If you are unfamiliar with the editor, hover over a button to see it's title.

For help, click the little blue question mark button in the upper left corner of the Editor Window.

For the Home Page, there are three columns or panels.
The Main Panel and Left & Right Side Panels.

If one, or both of the side panels are empty, the Main Panel's content will fill the space on the Benefit Site Home page.

Plan and Enrollment Dates

Adding Coverage & Open Enrollment Dates

Coverage Plan and Enrollment Dates will appear on the Enrollment page.

You can select to Show (Yes) or Hide (No) the Enrollment Dates once they are past the end of Enrollment (you'll have to do this manually).

No dates will appear if the is the Plan Start Date is empty.

Contact Information

Add up to three Contacts from

's Contact information will appear on the Contact page under the Carrier's Contact Info.

Edit Content, add Images & Video

Editing Information for Clients

To edit content, click on a tab above and click the EDIT CONTENT button.

Scroll down and hover over the content area and click the small red pencil in the bottom right corner of the content area.

A box will open with the Content Editor window.

You can edit the content, add images and videos to the Benefit Site's web page.

Click on the Help icon on the left side of the top row of the Edit Window for information on what each icon does.

Uses for the page

Use this Page a Variety of Ways

Page can be separately secured with username and password login.

Use it for a secure area for Management info, or eyes-only material.

If not needed as a secure page, use it for any other purpose - just rename the page.

Customize and Personalize

A Benefit Site for

There are a number of ways to customize and personalize your client's experience.

LOGO COLORS & LAYOUT

Add the client's logo(s).

Change the Font Style and Size to more closely match the client's standard font.

For experienced users, Adjust the Design the of the Benefit Site layout to compliment the client's website.

CONTENT

Add Content, Images, Tables

Embed or link Videos and Websites - like Enrollment Websites.

Upload any number of documents for each Coverage Type.

Broker Contact Information

Add up to three Contacts from BIC

BIC's Contact information will appear on the Contact page under the 's Contact Info.

Adding, Deleting, Renaming Folders and Files

Click the File icon below to open a new tab/window to access the Document Maintenance area.

You will be able to upload, delete, move or rename a file.

You can add folders to separate file to meake for clarity.

Folders can also be named, or renamed.

Files and Folders appear in alphabetical order.

WebPage Content Help

Website Page Content

If the Side Panel has no content and there is no carrier selected, the Main Panel will adjust to fit the width of the web page.

Carrier Contact Information Help

Selecting and Managing a Carrier

Use the Carrier area to select a Carrier, add a Group Number and manage Contact Info to show.

The Main Phone and Web are shown for each Carrier.
When selecting a carrier, refresh your browser to see the Contact Info.

If a Carrier has Claims entered on their account, it will appear below.

To edit or add a Carrier, click on CARRIERS on the top Menu Bar.

Adding/Updating Enrollment Info

Editing Plan and Open Enrollment Dates

To add Plan and Enroll Dates and information, click on the Enrollment tab.

You can opt to show or hide the Enrollment dates.
This is useful when you want to show the Open Enrollment dates prior to and during enrollment, but hide them after the enrollment period.

The date will appear in the side panel on the Enrollmnet tab on the client's Benefit Site.

You can also hide the Enrollment page by setting Show Page to No.

Add Company Info and Contacts

Select the Plan Coverage Pages to Show
(SETUP COVERAGES tab)

Choose Carriers for each Coverage
(SETUP COVERAGES or a Coverage Page tab)

or Add New Carrier
(CARRIERS)

Add the Client's Logo

Editing Home Content & Banners

Customizing the Home Page

There are a number of ways to customize and personalize the home page for .

CONTENT

The Home Page has up to three Content Panels to easily add content and images.
You can use all three, use the Middle Panel and just one of the Side Panels, or just use the Middle Panel.
If the Side Panels are empty, the Home Page fills with the content from the Middle Panel.

BANNERS

You can select to Show or Hide the Home Page Banners.
Banners can also be personalized with images from the company or that relate to their industry.

Files

Files added to the folder on the Home Page are generally the main doucments and summary for the client.
The Home Page folder will also appear at the top of the folder list on the Documents Page on a Benefit Site.
Folders appear when a document is located within it, or if there is more than one folder.

Display or Hide a Page

Choose to show hide a page

To Show or Not Show (hide) a page, click on the SETUP COVERAGES tab.

Click on the Show field for a coverage and select Yes to Show or No to Hide the page.

For Benefit Sites, choosing No to Hide a page will result in the page not being listed on the menu.
The page is still present, it is just not available on the menu, so you can add it back anytime by clicking Yes.

Pages set to No do not affect the page order

For Word Documents, the pages selected to not show will not appear on the Contact page or dropdown menus.

For Benefit Sites, the pages selected to not show will not appear on the site or the menu dropdown.

Use the SETUP COVERAGES tab to rearrange the Coverage page order.

Simply click and hold down on the more_horiz icon, then drag to where you want the page to be shown.

You can also declare if you want the page to Show.

For pages like Enrollment or for other timely information, you can use the Show option to temporarily turn on or off a webpage.

Add, Edit or Remove Carriers

Carrier Management

To manage Carriers, click CARRIERS on the top menu.

You can add a new Carrier, edit Contact Info, change a Carrier's logo or remove a Carrier from the system.

Each Carrier has fields for Phone and Website Contact Info and Claims Information.

To select a carrier for a Coverage, click on the Coverage tab, or click on the SETUP COVERAGES tab.

Coverage Titles

Editing a Coverage Page

Click on a Coverage tab or click on SETUP COVERAGES to edit or change the title of a Coverage Type.

You can rename any Coverage Type or page, with the exception of the Document and Contact pages.

For instance, rename Medical to Medical Benefits, Health Benefits, Medical Plan, etc.

If a Coverage Type is not being utilized, such as ID Theft, change the title to another type of coverage not listed - like Family Health.

Managing Coverage Pages

Manage Coverages and Carriers

To Add, Delete, Rename or Replace a Coverage, click on the SETUP COVERAGES tab.

You can select the types of Coverages to show and choose which Carrier provides the coverage.

If a Carrier isn't listed, click on the CARRIERS option on the top menu.
First, check to see if the Carrier is listed.
If so, click on Coverage Types and make sure the coverage is selected.

You can arrange the page order for either websites or Benefit Guide Templates for Word.
